Heaven is for Real - 5 Week Study led by Jeff Marshall beginning Wednesday, January 18

Study book $7.00

Is there life after death? Just ask 4-year-old Colton, who emerged from life-threatening surgery with   astounding details about heaven! Colton's account includes floating away, looking down on his dad praying in the hospital, seeing God's throne, and meeting relatives. This study, based on the book Heaven is for Real, includes learning more about what the Bible teaches about heaven, as well as hearing first-hand from the Burpo family about Colton's experience in heaven and the way it has changed their lives. Each video session features Todd, Sonja, and Colton, and is filmed interview-style. Sign up by calling the church office (679-4435).   Begins Wednesday, January 18 and continues for the next four Wednesdays meeting from 4:30-5:30 pm in the parlor.

Coming for Lent - 24 Hours That Changed the World

Church wide Study

No single event in human history has received more attention than the suffering and crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth. This series, beginning Sunday, February 29 includes Sunday morning worship, adult studies (Sunday School and small groups), youth and children studies. Adam Hamilton, through his book and dvd study, guides us through the last twenty-four hours of Jesus' life. Each week is designed to help us experience and understand the significance of Jesus' suffering and death in a way we have never done before. Watch the February newsletter for more information.

James: Mercy Triumphs by Beth Moore: Coming in February

Tuesday's: February 7- March 27

Friday's: February 10- March 30

Cost of study books 18.00

James, Jesus' own brother, started out as a skeptic. See how one glimpse of the resurrected Savior turned an unbeliever into a disciple with Beth Moore's 8-session study James: Mercy Triumphs. And, in the process, learn how you can put your own faith into action.

Bible scholars compare James to the prophet Amos. In other ways James more closely resembles the Book of Proverbs than any New Testament book. Come along with Beth Moore on a journey to get to know both the man and the Book of James. You will never be the same again.

Topics in this study include: joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer.
