Welcome to the Children’s Ministry program at Osceola United Methodist Church. I would like to start out by thanking you for entrusting your child to our care on Sunday mornings. We are looking forward to a fun and exciting year with your children. There are many fun lessons and activities planned that we are anxious to share. Ages will range from 3 yrs. to 5th grade. We strongly encourage parent’s involvement. This is a great way to experience first hand and participate in building your child’s relationship with God. Whether you choose to volunteer to help with class or help chaperone an outing it will be greatly appreciated.

Our 9 am Bible Study Hour gives children an overview of the Old Testament/New Testament and Bible Stories.

Our 10 am Sunday School introduces Deep Blue curriculum where kids will learn about God, what it means to be a follower of Jesus through Bible stories and opportunities to serve as disciples in the classroom, the local community, and the world.

Our 11:15 am Kid’s Church starts out in the sanctuary. Kids are released after the children’s sermon, down to the kid’s zone, in room 19 where they will have a weekly lesson which will include music, games, crafts and a snack.

Dismissal Procedures: For safety reasons we ask that whoever is responsible for the child please come to the class and pick them after church is dismissed.

Outings: We will provide a list of activities that we have scheduled. Some of these activities will be held at the church and others off site. Each child will be required to have the form filled out giving us permission. This form is good for the entire year and it also give us and idea if your child has a health issue we need to be aware of. Depending on the activity and cost we might ask that each family donate $5 per child to help fund some of the cost. We do want everyone to participate so if you family is unable to donate please contact us in advance.
